It was a couple of weeks ago, at the Bristol Hotel in downtown San Diego. We had an overnight sitter for the kids (Nonny & Pop), and we decided to get a room at the hotel, so we wouldn't have to worry about how we would get home! We used an alumni website to help find and organize everything. I was on the planning committee, which we started having monthly meetings back in February. One of my tasks was to locate and invite teachers to join us for happy hour. This is a picture of our principal and me! "Mr. V" was the greatest. We had him for two years at our junior high, and then he became our high school principal the year we started high school, so he was a "pal" of ours for 6 years! He was out walking the campus daily, and knew every one's names!! We located a few other teachers, but only one other was able to make it to the reunion. Here is a picture of the 3 husbands... Jeff (Shelley's), Mike (Angie's) and, of course, Chris. They spent a bit of time hanging out together while the gals and I did our social butterfly thing!
