Well, the two "before" pictures I have right now are not that great-- can't really see the deck through the lush gardens of my mother's back yard. It was a beautiful, large deck, but very old and rotting through. Getting too dangerous to walk on. So, my hubby has taken on the task/adventure of tearing it down and building a new one, that my mom designed herself! We are heading off on vacation, so this is as far as he has gotten so far. The deck is still large, but a bit smaller than the last one. There will eventually be a nice area of grass for the kids to play!
