This is East County's version of La Jolla's Mt. Soledad. We went to Mt. Helix last weekend, and it was beautiful. We could see all the way to downtown and Point Loma across the bay. Mt. Helix has a great outdoor amphitheater too, where the kids loved climbing the steps.
