Offer Time

So..... we have officially accepted an offer on our house! (As if we'd say "No!") But, that's the way it works, we had to sign all the paperwork, accepting the offer, and then an offer package is presented to the bank. So, from this point on, the minimum time we are looking at will be 3 months. They say the "negotiation process" with the bank takes about two months. Our realtor has to convince the bank to take the offer, basically. They have all the paperwork to show the bank that the buyer has been pre-approved for her loan, she put a deposit in, etc... she's READY! Then, after that approximate 2-month process, they will do a short, 30-day escrow. Which gets us to the 3-month mark. So, by the end of August, we shall see if everything has gone through.
