Kindergarten Rocks!

Keegan has been going to kindergarten for 6 weeks now, I can't believe it! He's already on his two-week break, and is loving the fact that he gets to see his grandparents every day again, AND gets to take naps during the day. But I have to share my excitement about something wonderful that happened this evening during our nightly reading session.... Keegan READ TO ME tonight!! He just started sounding out 3 and 4-letter words, and put the sounds together and was actually reading to me! Stop, top, dad, zip, dog, wet, etc.... I was so excited-- and he was too! Something has just clicked, and he seems to "get it" now! Yay!! 3 weeks shy of 5 years old, that's pretty awesome! Kindergarten Rocks!
