I think a sure sign that the "surprise party" is not completely a surprise is when the guest of honor walks through the door-- taking pictures of everyone else!! But, I think mom and I sure surprised her. It was a fun party. (The angle of my picture-taking was a little funny because I was hiding behind a cabinet, with my camera in the air shooting pictures. Didn't want to spoil the surprise of my mom being there too soon.)
