King Tut

He just looked so handsome today in his little vest. Just wanted to share. He is talking SO much these days. And not just copy-cat stuff. He's putting together his own 2-5-word sentences, and everything. His newest phrases are: "I so cute!" and "I so sweet." Oh, and "Brudder Keegan at Pee-School. Paying out-side!" He's developing a bit of a temper, or stubborn side I should say. But he can be such the cuddle bug, which I love dearly!

DISNEYLAND!!

Yes, we even went to Disneyland when the Derbys were in town. Kristi and Jack, and Keegan and I all went together. We had SO much fun. The boys weren't tired, and still not tired, and before we knew it, we had been there from 9:30am to 6pm, and neither of the boys had taken an nap! So, we figured we had better head out before getting stuck in the Disneyland parade (although it would have been fun, but we would have had to wait at the curb for an hour!). Photos: We went on the cool new Buzz Lightyear ride, and got our photos taken while intently "astro blasting." Jack is getting a bit fresh with Minnie. A couple of studs in a convertible. And Keegan, playing around while waiting for his YOUNGER (but taller) cousin go on Splash Mountain without him!.

Thank You Dr. Sandy T. Feldman!

Thanks to Dr. Feldman... my life has changed. I am now free of contacts and glasses!! Yes folks, my eyes may cost as much as precious gems... but what do us women always say? "IT'S WORTH IT!!!" I got iLASIK surgery done on February 15, a date I will NEVER forget! It is the most incredible thing to happen to me since my babies have been born!! The attached photos show what my eyes looked like for several days post-op, as well as the fun "goggles" I get to wear every night for a week! Don't want to be rubbin' those eyes in my sleep and messing up what I have worked so hard for! So-- thank you to Dr. Feldman and her staff. (And if anyone wants her number, let me know!!) I think the worst part would have to be that I can't wear eye makeup for a week-- wow, that part is tough, yuck!

Fun Times!

The Derbys were in town from the 9th through the 16th and we had some FUN times! Keegan was so sad after they left. Every night, he said, "Are we going to Nana & Papa's tomorrow? And is Jack going to be there?" We explained to him that Jack had to go home to Rocklin, and he said, with a pittiful sad face, "But I wish I could go home to Rocklin with Jack..." Too sweet! Wish the cousins lived closer together! We belatedly (is that a word?) celebrated Kristi and Kevin's birthdays, which were on the same day in January. We had good company, good food, and fun with the family!!

No Cal Family... IN Da' Houz!

Here are some cute pictures of Jack and Rose, and the boys too. (Wow, whatever show they were watching... sure kept them busy!)

Scary Thought!

Yes, Keegan looks a bit too comfortable on that little dirt bike! We took the boys to walk around the "pits" before the San Diego Supercross show. They got to sit on all kinds of Caterpillar heavy equipment, as well as quads, dirt bikes, etc. Needless to say-- they had a blast!

What NOT to do...

DON'T give your one-year-old a 6-inch piece of string cheese and expect him to take "a bite" out of it. DON'T underestimate the size of a one-year old's mouth! (He's actually laughing in this picture, but hard to tell. It just cracks me up, I had to put it on the site!)

Good Bye High Chair!

Yeah-- we have finally said goodbye to highchairs! They have their own little table, which they love. And, they have started to really become friends, rather than just brothers. Most of the time when Keegan has to sit on a "time out," Tustin sits right along with him to help him serve his time!

In Action on the Court

Next Sport in Line...

Basketball! (Look closely, you will see that the ball is IN the basket, thrown from the distance he is standing!) Although he made a basket both times he came through the line-up, he just wasn't quite as in to basketball as soccer. He's starting to get the hang of dribbling the ball, but today was his first go at that.

It Will Take a Little Adjusting

Yesterday was Keegan's 2nd day of preschool, and my first day alone with Tustin (hmmmm, probably since he's been born)! Keegan was tuggin' on the heart strings when I dropped him off in the morning, crying, screaming, "Mommy, I want to stay with YOU!" But, at the end of the day, he was playing, and having a blast. They said he only cried for a few minutes after I left.

Tustin and I walked along the boardwalk downtown, to the embarcadero, and around Seaport Village. We rode the carousel, and ran around in the grass. We spent a lot of time on a little wooden bridge, watching the ducks. And we saw some pretty cool rock-balances that a guy does at the embarcadero there. We will all get used to the new schedule, and I'm sure we will all enjoy it!
