Ken & Barbie's Dream Home

We got to visit Gavin and Suzie's (and Mason and Isabella's) BRAND new dream home! It's BEAUTIFUL!!! And probably quite a bit more decorated by now.

Getting ready for the Parade??

Hmmmmm, are they REALLY getting ready (making chip dip, etc...) or are they just hanging out, having girl time, eating their cake pops???

Auburn Parade of Lights

We got there early, and got our spot reserved for our big Parade Party

A little window shopping, and a little wine sipping!

All I Want For Christmas...

My Dad's Barbershop Quartet-- singing All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth-- at their Holiday Show at the El Prado Theater in Balboa Park!
And the tree is one of the two beautiful trees in the lobby of my office building downtown!

A little turkey day excitement!

Christmas Tree Shopping!

We are staying home for the holidays this year, so we thought we'd get a tree over Thanksgiving weekend, and enjoy it for an entire month!! The boys always have a blast when we go to the tree farm!

Tree Portraits!

All Three of our Kidlets in front of the pretty tree-- which the boys decorated themselves!

My New "Art"...... WATER!

Yes, I know, a typical Southern Californian thing to do!

Lace up the Blades!

We went ice skating a Horton Plaza (shopping mall) a few weeks ago. The erect a small out door rink every year around the holiday season. We weren't quite sure how the boys would do, or if they would even enjoy it. (Wasn't sure how I would do either for that matter!) But they LOVED it, as did I. They thought it was the coolest thing, and they've been back again for a 2nd skate trip as well!

Skating Fun!

I was amazed at how quickly the boys picked up on ice skating. They had never been before, and they did awesome! Took about 15-20 minutes for them to get the feel of it, and before we knew it, they were zooming around like they had thei

r tennies on!

Ice Skating

I'd say the boys spent about 75% of their ice-skating time chasing the pretty girls around! There are always young gals who work there, who help whomever needs assistance on the ice. Whenever shifts would rotate, and new girls would come on the ice to assist-- funny how the boys "forgot" to skate, and needed more assistance!! :-) We weren't exactly prepared for the cold, wetness of the day (half the rink was a 1/2-inch puddle of water floating above the ice), but we made do, and had a blast. And then there was daddy, sitting in Panera Bread, drinking hot cocoa, watching us from within the warmness of the sweet-smelling facility!
