In the Morning as well

We also went to Mommy's work to "reverse trick-or-treat." I take the boys in every year, in our costumes of course, and we hand out candy to everyone in my office. They have a pumpkin patch in the lobby of our building which the boys like to play in too. One of the attorneys brought in some scary music just for the boys! After that busy morning, they stripped out of their bee outfits-- well, half of them. Then they just looked like silly little boys whose Mommy dresses them in tights! ARGH.

Halloween Morning

Our first stop on Halloween morning was the boys' doctor's office. They LOVE the boys, and they were so great to us, several days in a row last week, treating Keegan for pneumonia. (It was an awful week, leading up to a fun weekend!) We brought a thank you card to the office, and the boys and I were in our costumes to say Happy Halloween. Every nurse and doctor in the building came to the lobby to see us!

Then we went to Keegan's preschool where they had a little parade of the kids, and then sang a lot of songs for us, which they had been working on all week. Unfortunately, Keegan missed out on all that due to being sick. But it was fun. A couple of the houses in the area of the preschool were really decked out for Halloween! The pumpkin-man is kind of cool looking, in a creepy sort of way!

Keegan turned 4 last weekend!

We had a fun party at a park, with a bounce house, and munchies, and t-ball, and more. Mommy didn't remember the pinata until all the guests left. Oh well-- we'll save it for next time!

The BEST part of a party....

The CAKE, of course! This year's theme: Pirates. Several of Keegan's friends dressed up in their best pirate attire. We had a huge, chocolate, treasure chest cake, and pirate loot-filled goodie bags.

Thank You, from Keegan!

Keegan had a wonderful party, and had a lot of fun opening his presents. He even let his brother and cousin share the excitement. (While Mommy was frantically trying to write it all down!) Every time he plays with any of his new toys, or reads new books, he asks "And who got this for me?"

It's Finally Over!

Time to relax!

Nate's Butt Farm!

(aka, "Bate's Nut Farm") We all had a fun time at the Nut Farm on Friday! Aunt Sylvia, Auntie Kristi, Nonny, Jack, Rose, Keegan, Tustin, me..... and all the BEES! That's right, bees! That was probably the one thing that made the trip a bit less than a perfect day. They were everywhere!

We had a great time anyway. Tustin was the only one brave enough to ride a pony. And he LOVED every minute of it. (Rose tried, but cried her way off the horse before the ride started.) Jack was the only one who got to experience the petting zoo. But all four kids really enjoyed the wagon! We had a fun day. See all the entries that follow for more fun photos!

The Brady Bunch at the Nut Farm!

I have a series of numerous photos of trying to get all the kids' faces in the wagon photo-board, trying to get them all to look at the camera and smile. It's hilarious! In every shot, one kid is looking in a totally different direction, heads in, heads out, sometimes smiling, sometimes squinting from the sun. Looking at each other, looking elsewhere. It reminds me of the beginning of the Brady Bunch show, when they are all in their little boxes, looking around.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

We had a great time walking around the huge pumpkin patches. The kids climbed all over the pumpkins.

Siblings. Cousins.

So CUTE!

Hay Ride!

We went on a fun, prickly, itchy hay ride through the corn fields. The kids loved it.

Not just for Christmas...

I bought a Halloween Gingerbread House, and the boys and I had a great time decorating it! It's a perfect center piece for our table.
