Another Pretty Stop Along the Route

Kennebunkport, Maine

This is a beautiful little town, with a cute little downtown harborside atmosphere. Lots of cute little shops and restaraunts. And the yellow house-- just something cool I saw along the way out of Kennebunk! Cute little row of birdhouses along the top of the windows.

Cape Neddick, Nubble Lighthouse, York, Maine

This is such a pretty lighthouse to look at! It was our last stop on our full-day journey back to West Newbury, Mass. We've stopped there before, with the boys, a couple of years ago. They have a cute little shop to buy gifts-- and as you can see, Tustin REALLY wanted "Lobstah" socks. Keegan had fallen asleep by this last stop, so Tusin and I had a little photo shoot. We bought Keegan some lighthouse socks, and Tustin picked out a T-shirt for them

to share.

I took about 1000+ pictures on our vacation, so I'm slowly working my way through them.... and TRYING to choose which to post! (So hard) So, the following photos are some of just our last few days of our two-week trip. More to come, so stay tuned!

Navy Shipyard- Portsmouth

We continued our trek down the coast to the Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth. Daddy's badge got us on base, and we got to drive all over checking things out. Daddy had fun looking at all the huge cranes!

Naval Shipyard

The boys got to climb on a cool old (partial) ship. It was pretty cool seeing the base-- Navy brat that I am! And the painting is a really cute painting that Grammie and Grampy have up in their house-- notice the names of the boats... the names of their 4 grandchildren! SO cute!

Salisbury Beach, MA

We cruised through a few arcades at Salisbury Beach, where the boys were raking in the tickets on the games. They had some pretty cool sand castles built out there too.

Hampton Beach, NH

The "boardwalk" looked like something out of Jersey Shore-- with all the shops and food stands (oh, ya, and they talk funny too!). One side was all the shops, and the other was all beach. There was a cute little playground in between where the kids had fun for quite a while. We walked around on the beach a little too.

The Last Supper!

We had a big, fun, cook-out on our last night in town! The guys did some grillin' outside, the girls did some game-playin' inside. (GREAT) Auntie Debbie came over with Clarissa (whom the boys LOVED), and it was great to spend some time with them. Good times.

Family Goodbyes

We had to say goodbye to everyone after the cookout, on our last night in Mass. We had SO much fun playing games, getting tipsy, and being silly. Saying good bye was tough.

Boston Baby!!

We went to the top of the Prudential Building, and had a 360-view of the City. The boys thought that was pretty cool. There was beautiful architechture everywhere! Saw the statue of George Washington-- it was a fun day with a history lesson!

Goodbyes are HARD!!!

We had a wonderful time in Boston together. Not too much time, and couldn't "do it all," but before a long flight home, it was just right! It was VERY hard to say good bye to Grammie & Grampy!
