Counting down the days until Kindergarten!

Tustin wanted to make a chain, with a link for every day left until kindergarten (we do this a lot for upcoming "big" events, so they have some sort of visual concept of how many days are left). When we made the chain, there were just over 60 days....a lot less than that now!!! Mid August!

Keegan's New-Found Interest

Keegan spends HOURS at a time working on Lego projects! He just loves it, and he's really good at it! He's putting together these creations that are

well over 100 little Lego pieces.

Race to the Fair (again!)

Yep-- we got to go to the fair again!! First time with Nonny & Auntie Silly, and then again with Nana & Papa. The kids got wrist bands for the rides, and they rode, and rode, and rode! They had a lot of fun, and were able to go on quite a few rides on the midway. Don't think we'll be heading back to the "Kid Zone" anymore! Enjoy our day at the fair, we sure did.

More Rides at the Fair

If we had more tickets-- the boys could have gone all day. The boys got to go on a lot of rides, thanks to Nonny, but the tickets only go so far. They had to pick and choose-- and I think they found their favorites.

Stone Brewing Company

Yes, believe it or not-- I took my kids to a brewery! ARGH, never thought the day would come (so soon anyway!). It's this beautiful

brewery up in Escondido, CA. We stopped on the way back from the Wild Animal Park. They have a nice big grassy lawn, and rocks for the kids to climb on (there were actually quite a few families with kids there), and paths to walk along. But, it was SUPER crowded, crazy crowded, and a few too many drunk guys for me to feel comfortable there with my kids. But we checked it out, and it's really a nice place.
