The Cast

Here is the unconventional cast of Dad's version of South Pacific! And here's a cute picture of Luther Billis and Me!! And, of course, Luther Billis in his coconuts, blond and curly wig, and grass skirt! (Keegan came in to the office while I was watching a video replay of Papa singing "A hundred and one, pounds of fun, that's my little honey bun..." with his coconuts and wig on, and Keegan stared in shock, threw his hands to cover his mouth and yelled "PAPA HAS BOOBIES!" And he just giggled like it was the funniest thing in the world!)

Halloween Party

Tustin's buddy at school invited us over to their house for a party on Halloween night. It was great, they had dinner, dessert, snacks, drinks, and they rented a huge jumpy/slide combo for the kids to play on. And... I think they spent 2 hours straight, playing on it!

Trick-or-Treat

It was a little tricky to get all the kidlets sitting still for a photo, but I love taking a bunch anyway, because they paint a funny picture looking at all the poses! We had a fun time walking around the neighborhood after the party. The kids got a lot of loot!

Pumpkin Carving

The boys had fun carving pumpkins this year-- I tried to let them do it by themselves, with the proper safety precautions! Keegan wouldn't even touch the insides, to scrape out the "meat" and seeds. Tustin tried, but was pretty grossed out!

Wonderful Surprise!

Kristi and the kids came to town last weekend to help us celebrate Keegan's birthday! The boys didn't know that Auntie Kristi, Jack and Rose were going to show up at their soccer game-- they were very surprised, and very excited!

Soccer Time or Play Time?

By the end of the boys' soccer game, they were so far ahead, they kind of got side-tracked and decided to play with their cousins!

Cookies!

The kids had fun decorating their cookies at Keegan's quasi-birthday party last weekend.

The Haunted Aquarium

The kids got all dressed up-- yes, Mommy too-- and we headed to La Jolla to experience the "Haunted Aquarium" at Scripps Birch Aquarium. Jack, Rose, Keegan, and Tustin had a lot of fun trick-or-treating, investigating, and having fun playing games- as well as seeing all the fish and other cool animals.

Aquarium

We saw a beautiful sunset, followed by beautiful evening sky. Really cool animals, some that the kids could touch. Games. Tattoos. Trick-or-treating throughout the aquarium. Good times!

Aquarium Fun

The boys met up with their life-long buddy, Spencer (the son of Mommy's high-school friend, Shelley). Great costume, Spencer! They all had a blast playing and investigating at the Haunted Aquarium.

Keegan's Birthday Celebration, part.. 10?

Seems we've had a month of celebration around here! Disneyland, party at his school, cookie baking, etc... We all got together for a nice home-cooked (BBQ'd) meal at Nana & Papa's on the 24th, Keeg's 6th birthday. I tried my luck and baked a Ben 10 cake (um, it's a Ben 10 watch, if you can't tell, with an alien on top!) The cousins had more fun playing together.

Keegan's Party

The cake may not have been "professionally" made, but I think we all enjoyed it just the same!
